Job Description

Join the AWS End User Messaging team to build large-scale messaging applications for app developers and enterprises to engage their users.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy cloud software frameworks for AWS End User Messaging SMS and Voice Products
• Provide technical leadership and contribute to the definition, development, integration, test, documentation, and support of (mainly Java-based) software
• Create new feature and performance improvements
• Prepare technical requirements and software design specifications
• Instill best practices for software development and documentation, making sure designs meet requirements, and delivering high-quality software on a tight schedule
