Security Engineer II, Global Media and Entertainment Security

Job Description

Amazon Global Media and Entertainment Security is seeking a self-motivated Security Engineer with strong technical skills to join their innovative team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object-oriented language experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP

Responsibilities

• Security tool development and deployment
• Infrastructure as code, specifically CDK
• Network Design for media production networks
• Endpoint security tool implementation/administration
• Security Automations and Process Engineering
• Security metrics delivery and improvements
• Secure architecture design
• Threat modeling
• Security training and outreach to internal development teams
• Security guidance documentation
• Assistance with recruiting activities and administrative work
• Projects and research work as needed
