Software Development Engineer , Amazon Robotics (AR) Sortation Planning

Job Description

Amazon Robotics is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join the AR Sortation Planning team and be instrumental in establishing and expanding a machine learning practice for intelligent robotic workcells.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• 2+ years of full stack development experience
• Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers
• Experience with full software development life cycle

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, flexible, and maintainable ML-driven software solutions for robotic workcell & workflow optimization
• Design and implement machine learning models for perception, classification, prediction, and control optimization in robotic environments
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams
• Develop and manage data pipelines, model training workflows, and deployment infrastructure
• Conduct offline and in-simulation experimentation and analysis
• Contribute to technical architecture and roadmap
• Own production ML systems end-to-end
