Job Description

The Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer provides full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers, troubleshoots issues, designs upgrades, and collaborates with diverse teams to ensure operational efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities
• Experience with data centers, power generation, or oil/gas facilities

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and conduct Root Cause Analysis for site/equipment failures
• Support operational issues with training and critical equipment reviews
• Own conceptual design for data center upgrades and design-solutions
• Interface with internal teams to maintain consistency and reliability in services
• Develop innovative solutions for data centers
• Initiate and lead engineering audits, produce risk reports, and recommend mitigations
• Act as resident engineer during new construction projects
