Software Development Engineer, AWS Kinesis Data Streams

Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will work on real-time streaming data ingestion and processing, and will have the opportunity to interact with enterprise customers to ensure their needs are met.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Solving difficult problems, applying appropriate technologies and best practices
• Inventing, designing and building stable and performant software with the team
• Actively participating in product definition, technical architecture review, iterative development, code review, and operations
• Working on project ideas with customers, stakeholders, and peers
