System Development Engineer II, CIA Connectivity Services

Job Description

Amazon Operations Technology is seeking an experienced System Development Engineer to join the CIA Connectivity Services team in Austin, TX. The role involves solving challenging problems, developing scalable solutions, and collaborating with global teams to enhance technology for Fulfillment Centers and Transportation Sites.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Responsibilities

• Partnering with System Engineers, Network Engineers, and Software Engineers globally
• Working on a variety of technologies and projects
• Providing mentorship and solutions to complex business problems
• Focusing on automation of complex tasks
