Data Center Chief Engineer, DCC Communities

Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join their Data Center Engineering Operations Team. The Data Center Chief Engineer (CE) will be responsible for ensuring all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center is operating efficiently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 5+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience
• Experience leading a team

Responsibilities

• Management and leadership of DCEO Engineering Team
• Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all critical facility operations and maintenance
• Oversee operation and management of routine and emergency services on critical systems
• Data Center capacity planning and reporting
• Deliver quality service and ensure all customer demands are met
• Responsible for asset and inventory management
• Respond to out of hours emergency calls
• Ensure all training conducted on site meet global standards for personnel qualification
