Software Development Engineer, Amazon WebView

Job Description

The Amazon WebView team is seeking a talented software development engineer to design, implement, and maintain the next generation web solutions for consumer devices worldwide.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience with Linux-based operating systems

Responsibilities

• Research, design, implement, document, and maintain new and existing software for the core WebView engine
• Engage with cross-disciplinary staff to design innovative consumer products
• Work on device software stack, writing APIs in React Native and maintaining a web engine in C++
• Focus on integration with graphics layer, media playback, web APIs, and OS's UI layer
