Senior Software Development Engineer, Audible

Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer at Audible, you will define, design, implement, and deliver high-quality technical solutions for complex P13N problems, working with cutting-edge ML technologies and large-scale distributed systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with one or more modern language (e.g., Java, C++, C#)
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current system
• Experience writing clear, maintainable, and extensible code

Responsibilities

• Define, design, implement, and deliver technical solutions for complex P13N problems
• Work cross-functionally to understand business and customer needs
• Optimize existing processes and procedures
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks
• Mentor and share knowledge with more junior engineers
• Participate actively in code/design reviews and provide constructive feedback
