Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 3+ years of designing or architecting systems experience
• 4+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals

Responsibilities

• Own, design, build, and deploy large scale and high-impact projects
• Develop infrastructure-as-code software for distributed services
• Design fault tolerance and disaster recovery solutions
• Identify and remove scaling bottlenecks in distributed systems
• Work with engineers to build and manage massively scaled services
• Diagnose and resolve customer issues
• Implement security and operational best practices
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and metric collection at scale
• Lead design, architecture, process, and development discussions
