Security Engineer, Payments Security

Job Description

Amazon is looking for a Security Engineer to join their Payments Security team. The role involves securing critical businesses and services within Amazon Payments ecosystem, processing millions of transactions daily.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 3+ years of threat modeling experience, secure coding, identity management, etc.
• Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques
• Experience driving multiple technically complex security initiatives

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end security of the business
• Perform security reviews including secure design, threat modeling, etc.
• Identify security gaps and provide risk mitigation recommendations
• Communicate findings to stakeholders, produce reports, and create relevant documentation
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain security automation solutions
• Lead security initiatives with end-to-end ownership
