Job Description

Amazon Glacier is looking for an engineer to lead the design and implementation of a distributed storage service that operates at cloud scale, solving fascinating scaling and algorithmic problems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a distributed storage service
• Develop distributed system services in Java
• Work on low-level systems coding that interfaces directly with hardware
• Solve challenging computer science problems
