Software Engineer API Platform

Job Description

The API Platform team at Twitch is seeking engineers to build and architect scalable, low latency, and fault-tolerant APIs for high-traffic, internet-facing services.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
• Experience developing with static-typed languages
• Enjoy building intuitive APIs for developers
• Write high-quality, easy-to-read code

Responsibilities

• Work with product leaders to build and release new features for Twitch
• Contribute to architectural, design, and process discussions for building Twitch's GraphQL API and real-time platform
• Design and deliver robust real-time messaging features
• Identify and uphold engineering best practices
