Data Engineer, Advertising Finance

Job Description

Amazon is seeking a motivated Data Engineer to join the Amazon’s Stores advertising business, focusing on designing, building, and optimizing data solutions for a high-growth advertising business.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience in SQL

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and build an analytical data infrastructure
• Manage AWS resources including EC2, EMR, S3, Glue, Redshift, etc.
• Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
• Explore, learn, and adopt the latest AWS technologies
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence Engineers (BIEs) to adopt best practices in reporting and analysis
• Work with stakeholders to understand business questions, define requirements, and build data solutions
• Support and improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes
