Amazon Robotics is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist with expertise in building scalable computer vision machine learning systems for robotic platforms.

Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related languages
• Expertise in computer vision and machine learning techniques for robotics systems

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement Machine Learning models for vision systems on robotic platforms
• Optimize, deploy, and support ML models at scale on the edge
• Influence the team's strategy and contribute to long-term vision and roadmap
• Mentor other team members and work directly with customers and partners to test prototypes
