Job Description

Amazon MAKO is looking for an experienced, results-oriented engineer to build premium shopping experiences for Amazon customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another technical field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as Java, C++ or C#
• Deep understanding of CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis
• Design and architecture knowledge as well as familiarity with object-oriented analysis and design patterns (OOA/OOD)

Responsibilities

• Translating high-level, ambiguous business goals into working software solutions
• Providing highly scalable, premium shopping experiences for Amazon devices, accessories, and services
• Collaborating with product managers and UX designers to solve real-world customer problems and business opportunities
• Defining new shopping experiences and driving innovation with the latest technologies, including machine learning
