Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking Data Center Technicians to join their team in ensuring overall availability and reliability of data center operations.

Requirements

• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• High school or equivalent diploma
• Experience working in a Data Center environment
• Understanding of network design, protocols, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of storage devices
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
• An Associates degree or 2+ years of professional or military experience in an IT related field

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of technical issues and engage other teams when needed
• Troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues
• Maintain service level agreements through proactive issue detection and reporting
• Act in the absence of direction or support
• Improve effectiveness through process innovation
