Job Description

The Sr. Ops Engineer Deployment & Ramp role in the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience organization at Amazon involves overseeing multiple products, programs, and projects related to deploying Mechatronics Sustainable Packaging solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
• Experience in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
• Experience managing project portfolios, budgets, and decentralized resources
• Ability to travel frequently within the country and occasionally internationally
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
• Experience using CAD software
• Experience with procurement of equipment
• Experience in Robotics, Automation, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or other warehouse environments
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
• Experience leading cross-functional teams/projects
• Knowledge of Project management tools like PPM, Clarity, MPP, or Jira

Responsibilities

• Manage the development of project plans and technical solutions
• Influence decisions on deployment and machine performance execution strategy
• Own the tactical planning on the installation of complex cross-functional projects
• Own the strategy of program/product for annual planning of resources and budget
• Own communication of program execution and performance
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program and product managers, and internal customers
• Ensure all business stakeholders are aligned on program status
