Sr. Software Development Engineer, AWS Fraud Prevention Engineering Team

Job Description

AWS Fraud Prevention team is seeking a motivated and experienced Software Development Engineer to build solutions using the latest tech in distributed systems at scale to prevent fraud and compromise attacks.

Requirements

• 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 6+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 6+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Own a large part of the overall architecture within the team
• Influence the technical direction and mentor junior engineers
• Tackle complex problems, innovate, and drive product direction
• Design next-generation fraud and compromise prevention systems
