Job Description

Amazon Workforce Solutions Talent Mobility (WSTM) team is seeking a senior software development engineer to disrupt the Talent Acquisition space through automation and technological innovations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Designing and building scalable, extensible, resilient, and highly-available systems
• Providing guidance, mentorship, and insights to junior engineers
• Acting as quality gate-keepers for fault-tolerant system design, development, and deployment
• Thriving in ambiguity, fostering team collaboration, and continuously improving processes
• Communicating effectively with various audiences and pitching new ideas
