Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer - Electrical, Prime Air

Job Description

Amazon Prime Air is seeking an experienced Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer - Electrical who will work on developing supplier quality engagement strategies and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to generate safe, high-quality, cost-effective products at scale.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of relevant work experience in Supplier Quality related to DC gearmotors, encoders, sensors, wiring harnesses, cameras, PCBA, electronics etc.
• Proficiency in ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements
• Experience with quality tools such as 8D, DOE, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC etc.
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures

Responsibilities

• Develop supplier quality engagement strategies from product development through sustaining operations
• Collaborate with Engineering to optimize product design through DFMEAs
• Conduct initial, surveillance and for-cause supplier audits
• Guide on best practice supplier management activities
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate safe, high quality, cost effective products at scale
