Senior Design Engineer , RSR DE & AMZL Speed

Job Description

The RSR Design Engineering team is seeking an innovative design engineer to lead new initiatives and develop industrial building designs for Amazon's last mile network.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Experience with CAD software and automated material handling equipment
• 8+ years of experience in relevant fields
• Experience in process design based on Lean Principles
• Experience in Capital project management
• Strong technical background in material handling equipment and robotics

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate design efforts for optimal delivery station design solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to generate cost-effective solutions
• Manage multiple projects, influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively
• Provide design support for engineering projects and building designs
• Effectively communicate technical solutions to senior executives
