System Development Engineer II, AWS Network Infrastructure

Job Description

Seeking a seasoned system development engineer with expertise in DevOps and Customer Obsession to work on an ecosystem of tools supporting the Global Connectivity and Infrastructure team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
• 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack solutions
• Collaborate with teams to deliver novel customer experiences
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other SDEs
• Maintain high quality design reviews and engineering practices
• Develop software solutions to drive network acquisition and deployment processes
