Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer to work on Smart Eyewear products leveraging AI and cloud services.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience in leading design or architecture of new systems
• Experience in coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing
• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Expertise in at least one object-oriented programming language
• Experience in design and development of cloud services using AWS
• Experience in developing mobile applications on Android or iOS
• Knowledge of computer vision or AI-based applications

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large scale cloud services and/or mobile experiences
• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient codebases
• Conduct experiments, build prototypes, and analyze results
• Integrate ML models into production systems
• Deploy applications on devices and cloud platforms
• Stay updated with advancements in AI and machine learning technologies
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team meetings
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
