Job Description

Amazon is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to join their team and focus on project-based initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Requirements

• 4+ years of technical support experience
• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent
• 4+ years of IT systems or relevant commercial production environment experience
• Experience leading small to medium-sized IT projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex issues

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex IT projects related to imaging, deployment, and lifecycle management of end-user equipment
• Develop and implement technical solutions to improve operational efficiency and service quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex IT issues
• Provide escalation support for challenging technical problems and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new IT processes and systems
• Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for hardware and software upgrades
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles
• Participate in on-call rotations to support critical IT infrastructure and services
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, proposing innovative solutions to enhance IT operations
