Senior Innovation Engineer, WW Innovation Engineering

Job Description

Amazon Logistics is seeking an Innovation Engineer to lead the application of automation into their WW Delivery Station Network.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent industrial background
• 5+ years’ demonstrated Engineering experience in an automation, robotics or manufacturing environment
• 5+ years engineering project management experience
• Experience across the full project lifecycle; from analysis and design to implementation
• Experience with complex projects in operations, processes, or performance improvement
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product teams and WW Engineering to drive customer requirements for implementing various robotics solutions
• Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts for the last mile network
• Identify process paths to automate based on various factors; labor, cost, safety, performance, etc.
• Author business cases to introduce automation to the Delivery Stations network
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical documentation and plan technology integration
