System Development Engineer II, REALM ARISE

Job Description

Join Amazon's Last Mile Technology team as a Systems Development Engineer to help create innovative ways to deliver packages quickly and cost-effectively to customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or at least 8 years relevant experience in a large-scale technical environment
• 3-5 years experiencing troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a distributed environment
• 3-5 years experience automating tasks using scripting languages
• 3-5 years experience driving collaborative projects from conception to delivery using Agile/Scrum methodology
• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals
• Effective organizational skills and ability to maintain high standard of operations in a busy environment
• English language written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build tooling to automate the detection and resolution of issues within Last Mile and Amazon infrastructure
• Direct resolution of high visibility incidents by leading conference calls
• Drive further improvements into automation, tooling, and processes based on incident learnings
• Participate on project teams to expand use of tooling to additional areas across Amazon
