Software Development Engineer, AWS Demand Planning

Job Description

The Demand Planning team at AWS is seeking a Software Engineer to work on building and maintaining a scalable planning platform for forecasting hardware needs for EC2.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with research scientists and business experts to build and maintain a scalable planning platform
• Work on innovative models capable of handling large amounts of real-time data
• Utilize technologies like Scala, Java, Python, JavaScript, Lambda, DynamoDB, and other AWS services
