Sr. Hardware Power Engineer, Power Technology

Job Description

Senior Power Engineer role in Amazon Devices team responsible for power and energy consumption models and engineering of consumer electronics products.

Requirements

• - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• - 7+ years of experience as a hardware or systems engineer
• - Experience with schematic and layout tools such as OrCAD and Allegro
• - Experience with Lab Equipment like Oscilloscopes, DC Analyzers, and DAQ systems
• - Experience debugging power issues on embedded electronics devices
• - Experience using LDOs, SMPS, and power distribution in embedded systems or power and energy consumption modeling and optimization

Responsibilities

• - Interact with cross-functional engineering teams
• - Dive deep into power related issues and work with teams to solve them
• - Participate in schematic and layout reviews
• - Address all aspects of power technology readiness
• - Help design and deliver innovative power technology to products
