UPS Battery Maintenance Engineer, DCC Communities

Job Description

We are looking for a UPS Battery Testing Technician to join our Operations Services team and maintain critical equipment in support of providing best in class availability for our data center customers.

Requirements

• 1+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience OR Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or a relevant technical discipline from an accredited institution, coupled with military or trade school training.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing operations of mission-critical facilities, requiring in-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Proficiency in identifying safety concerns and maintaining a secure work environment in compliance with NFPA 70E guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Apply preventative maintenance testing techniques for UPS batteries across data centers.
• Act as an ambassador for safety and ensure compliance with security protocols.
• Interact with various stakeholders including engineers, technicians, and project managers.
• Develop detailed solutions to complex problems, track exceptions, and execute maintenance programs.
• Provide support for various events and cross-functional teams.
