ADC Engineer II, DBS Non Relational

Job Description

AWS is seeking a ADC Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC). The ideal candidate will work with Amazon's largest and most demanding customers to address specific needs across a full suite of services.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
• 4+ years Linux experience
• 4+ years of experience with scripting in bash, python, perl, php, shell or similar languages
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Dive deep to find the root cause of customer issues
• Investigate why metrics are trending in the wrong direction
• Discuss radical new approaches to automate operational processes
• Provide troubleshooting and operations support
• Automate operational tasks
• Identify and resolve operational concerns in a timely manner
