Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a detail-oriented individual to join their Data Center Engineering Operations Team responsible for maintaining critical physical infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 5+ years of data center or mission critical facilities experience
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience leading a team

Responsibilities

• Management and leadership of DCEO Engineering Team
• Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on critical facility operations and maintenance
• Oversee operation and management of routine and emergency services for critical systems
• Data Center capacity planning and reporting
• Asset and inventory management
• Respond to out of hours emergency calls and first level escalation point for Data Center facilities related issues/failures
• Ensure all training conducted on site meet global standards for personnel qualification
