System Development Engineer, CE Tech

Job Description

Consumer Electronics Technology (CE Tech) is hiring System Development Engineers (SysDE) to innovate how customers shop for electronics, digital video games, warranties, wireless plans, bundles, and more.

Requirements

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-performing systems and services
• Own and lead engineering excellence initiatives across multiple engineering teams
• Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging to resolve complex issues
• Partner closely with engineering teams to share knowledge and collaborate on solutions
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and industry trends
• Administer, monitor, and generate system health and performance reporting
