Senior Solutions Architect, National Security Solutions Architecture Team

Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support US Government customers in the Northern Virginia / DC Metro area. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide technical expertise and innovative cloud solutions to the Intelligence Community.

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience
• 6+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Experience defining technical solutions to meet business objectives
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption
• Educate customers on AWS value proposition and participate in architectural discussions
• Conduct training sessions and share best practices within the AWS community
• Build relationships with technical individuals in customer organizations to promote cloud advocacy
