Job Description

The AWS Hardware Engineering team at Amazon creates server designs for cloud services, focusing on frugality and operational excellence. They are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer with specialization in programmable logic development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware
• 3+ years of programming with at least one hardware description language experience

Responsibilities

• Owning end to end programmable logic development including design, work estimates, implementation, verification, and validation
• Deploying, monitoring, debugging, and supporting programmable logic component design to improve fleet health
• Growing and developing junior team members and contributing to team growth for efficiency and quality improvement
