Sr. Hardware Development Engineer/SI, AWS Board Core Design and Services Team

Job Description

Join the AWS Infrastructure Services team to design, plan, deliver, and operate AWS global infrastructure, supporting all data centers and ensuring continual access to innovation for customers.

Requirements

• BS Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in embedded ARM, FPGA, and CPLD applications
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with high-speed PCB design
• Strong proficiency in PCB design tools with detailed PCB review abilities
• Advanced expertise in high-speed interface design and signal integrity
• Experience in board root cause analysis and resolution
• Experience with flash, I2C, SPI, UART, and ethernet interfaces

Responsibilities

• Own next-generation server components focusing on digital circuit board design and signal integrity
• Design, develop, validate, and launch high-speed, complex PCB designs
• Interact with interdisciplinary teams for large-scale implementations
• Solve the hardest problems in software, hardware, and cloud integration
