Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Elastic MapReduce (EMR) team to work on massively scaled distributed services enabling fast and predictable Big Data performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Translation of complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
• Deliver systems and features with top-notch quality, on time
• Develop new technologies for monitoring production clusters
• Own the software development process end-to-end
