Software Development Engineer, Amazon Robotics Autonomous Mobility

Job Description

Join the Amazon Robotics Autonomous Mobility software team as a Software Development Engineer to work on the platform, data, and tools for Amazon's first fully autonomous warehouse robot, Proteus.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with Linux kernel and OS setup and configuration
• Experience with ROS
• Experience with ML frameworks such has AWS Sagemaker, Pytorch, and MLFlow

Responsibilities

• Optimizing runtime performance of core algorithms by exploiting underlying hardware acceleration capabilities
• Integrating new sensors and hardware components into the software stack
• Building data pipelines and tools to enable ML-development flywheel
• Developing software for remote diagnostics, recovery, and control of autonomous robots
• Designing and developing software interfaces for hardware testing and manufacturing processes
