Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Manager, Design Engineering to lead the development of next-generation fulfillment and transportation systems globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field OR 2+ years of Amazon experience
• 10+ years experience in Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation
• 5+ years experience managing a successful team of engineers
• Experience with technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects
• Experience with MHE and packaging lines or process design

Responsibilities

• Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions for global material flow and efficiency problems
• Lead design and innovation efforts for fulfillment and transportation network optimization
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop cost-effective solutions
• Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects
• Communicate vision and technical solutions to senior executives
