Job Description

The Departures Tech team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our mission of transforming the offboarding experience for Amazonians by building innovative solutions using Generative AI and Machine Learning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 2+ years of programming on Java, TypeScript, Node Js

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end software development using AWS native services
• Design and implement solutions focusing on scalability and security
• Lead technical discussions and drive consensus
• Implement AI solutions to automate decision-making processes
• Participate in an on-call rotation
• Mentor team members and establish coding standards
• Stay curious and bring new ideas to solve complex problems
