Operations Engineer, Robotics

Job Description

As an Operations Engineer at Amazon, you will lead and manage challenging cross-functional projects to develop and deliver automation and material handling solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field
• 4+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation
• Experience managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systems
• Experience working with the design and installation planning for complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and/or systems
• Experience with Project management tools, 2D and 3D CAD/CAE modeling tools
• Travel 30% - 80% domestically

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of challenging projects independently with internal and external teams
• Lead and coordinate execution efforts in delivering systems and automated equipment designs
• Lead effective meetings, communicate project status and risk analysis
• Articulate system and/or equipment designs to internal customers and partner teams
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
