Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for Software Development Engineers to work on Linux based networking platforms as part of the Data Plane team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with Rust, Go, Java and/or C++ languages
• Experience with Linux Kernel and/or forwarding stack

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and deliver AWS global infrastructure
• Develop state of the art Linux based networking platforms
• Work on embedded routing platforms for complex networks
• Ensure Kernel state and hardware state mirror one another
• Own packet forwarding in networking devices
