Senior Innovation and Design Engineer, Worldwide Design and Engineering

Job Description

Seeking an innovative leader to design world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems, leveraging automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and robotics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years Amazon experience
• 10+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related
• Experience in ownership/management of engineering design projects
• Proficiency in using business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
• Ability to travel 20% globally

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems
• Own multiple projects from concept realization through design approval
• Act as the primary technical contact for suppliers
• Support Ops Engineering team in installation and commissioning of projects
