Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative by Amazon to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites providing broadband connectivity to unserved communities. They are seeking a hardware engineer for satellite power system development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of engineering experience in electrical power systems, power electronics, battery, or solar
• Experience in requirements definition and verification compliance for complex electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Definition and execution of satellite power subsystem checkouts and tests
• Provide engineering support for satellite production testing and on-orbit mission activities
• Develop test systems and test plans for electrical power subsystem functionality and performance
• Investigate and resolve failures in test systems and devices under test
