Job Description

The Middle-Midle Transportation Technology team at Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) to work on cutting-edge algorithms for optimizing freight movements and building a global transportation network.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design transportation solutions for various Amazon business verticals
• Build distributed systems focusing on operator and customer experience
• Maintain high software quality standards through code reviews and reducing tech debt
• Mentor junior engineers in building scalable software
• Influence technical strategy and architectural decisions
• Ensure high-quality software through active participation in code reviews
• Implement best practices in operational and engineering excellence
• Collaborate with product owners to align on long-term goals
