Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Project Kuiper Terrestrial Applications

Job Description

Project Kuiper is seeking an embedded Software Development Engineer to design and develop Customer Terminal system software for their global broadband access initiative using embedded Linux and custom Silicon.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience in leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience in full software development life cycle
• Experience in coding standards, code reviews, and source control management

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for Customer Terminal devices within the Project Kuiper system
• Participate in all phases of SDLC including requirements gathering, design, code, test, and code/test coverage
• Write drivers for peripherals and interfaces
• Work closely with hardware teams to support board bring-up and integration testing
• Lead a team of embedded SDEs responsible for designing embedded software
