Job Description

The Security Solutions Engineering team is seeking a highly talented Security Systems Engineer responsible for designing, configuring, and troubleshooting networked security systems in data centers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Security, or related technical field
• 10+ years experience in security systems, integration, hardware development engineering or similar role
• 10+ years experience in IP networking, including TCP/IP protocols and network architecture related to physical security systems
• 5+ years experience in communication protocols used in physical security systems (RS-485, RTSP, UDP)
• 5+ years experience with enterprise security systems (Access Control, Video Management, Intrusion Detection, Mass Notification)

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of network layouts for physical security systems
• Configure and maintain network devices and software related to security systems
• Integrate security devices into existing networks while maintaining security protocols
• Support evaluation, testing, and deployment of Security IoT devices
• Conduct system audits and update documentation as necessary
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues
• Stay updated with industry trends in networking and physical security systems
• Develop standard operating procedures and lead training efforts for data center technicians
• Participate in system engineering and design reviews for security solutions
• Manage projects from concept through deployment
