Job Description

Join AWS Infrastructure Services as a Sr. Optical Network Development Engineer to build, deploy, and scale Amazon networks supporting AWS, customers, and global data centers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of experience in optical communication systems or components
• 4+ years of experience with high-speed signals and signal and power integrity in electronic devices
• 2+ years of experience working with optical and networking merchant silicon suppliers

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality network and/or systems operations, deployments, scaling, technology refresh, and best practices application
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate new hardware and software features
• Automate optical test plans, qualify optical modules, and define test plans for Optical Modules
