Process Engineer II, Tech Deployment &Field Support

Job Description

Process Engineers on the Deployment Support Services (DSS) team are responsible for developing frameworks to onboard new technologies and support their deployment using industrial engineering techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in high technology or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in operational metrics, Lean principles, and industrial engineering tools
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving tools
• Ability to travel globally up to 30% per year

Responsibilities

• Create standard processes for vendors and 3rd party assemblers
• Optimize robotics and automation systems for large-scale deployment
• Utilize Design for Deployment methodologies for new technology
• Support in-field deployments at various Amazon locations globally
• Interpret data sets for process improvement
• Develop and implement deployment plans
