Security Engineer II, Customer Logistics Security

Job Description

Amazon’s Customer Logistics Security team is looking for a qualified Security Engineer to join their innovative and customer-obsessed Customers Logistics Security Operations Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++
• 3+ Years experience with incident response, log analysis and forensic tools
• Able to perform DFIR and provide incident response at all stages
• Experience working as part of a Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT)

Responsibilities

• Responding to security alerts, triaging, recovering, and rebuilding Infrastructure devices during incidents while collecting forensic evidence
• Providing security engineering solutions and support during customer-facing incidents
• Assisting in the development of pragmatic solutions that achieve business requirements
• Identifying and recommending solutions that improve or expand Amazon’s incident response capabilities
• Working alongside and mentoring Information Security engineers to improve security
• Evaluating the impact of current security trends and academic research to Amazon
• Keeping knowledge and skills current with the rapidly changing threat landscape
• Participating in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation
